Worth the Drive: Two "Bay Sunrise" cocktails at Up the Creek Raw Bar in Apalachicola
Welcome to our spring 2022 travel blog. We haven't been camping since October, so we're very excited about getting back on the road. As you can see from the maps below we will be revisiting some of our favorite spots, but also exploring some new ones too. Based on lots of feedback, I'm returning to my old post format where the text and the photos are from the same day.

Day 1 & 2

 Happy Easter

We began this trip heading for Massena, NY, so we could spend Easter Weekend with Joni's Aunt Roey.  The drive to Massena is a familiar one for us so the 450 mile, 10 hour drive went by quickly.  We left Sandwich at 6:45 AM so that we could arrive at the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge in time for breakfast.

I don't think anyone makes a better egg benedict than the Red Lion; but I'm open to suggestion if you have a recommendation worth exploring.

Massena is located on the St. Lawrence River, so any visit there isn't complete without a visit to the Seaway and the Robert Moses State Park.
